Using a Support Person

You can also have a grown-up person with you the whole time even when you are speaking to the judge, sheriff, the children's  reporter or lawyers.

This person is called a support person or a supporter. Think about who you would like to be your support person.

Check out what a support person is like on the Visiting the Court on Your Computer page. Click on either Criminal Court or Children's Hearing Court, then click on the red 'Having a Support Person' button.
