What you can do in advance

Here are some things you can do before the court case. 

The person you care for may never have been in a court before.

It can help if you and they understand how the court works and the importance of a witness giving their evidence.

There are organisations that can help to answer your questions. You can help the person to obtain the information they need and make sure that it is in a form they can understand.
